1) What is the enrollment process?
Most enrollment happens in the fall and early winter, for the new school year beginning the second week of August. Preference is given to employees, siblings of current students and siblings of alumni. As soon as you are able, we recommend you contact us for a tour of the school.

2) What ages are accepted?
We currently accept children ages 2 years through 6 years old.

3) How many hours are most children enrolled at Via Nova?
To best serve working families, while ensuring the health and safety of the children and staff, we offer 9.5 hours a day, 5-day/week attendance, year-round. Most children are dropped off within the first 1.5 hour and picked up within the last 1.5 hours. We do not offer part time care and education.

4) What is a typical “day in the life”?
Days at Via Nova provide variety, while following a regular daily routine. Daily activities include circle times, meal time, naps, enrichment classes (music and drama), Spanish circle time, etc.
Sample daily schedules are available here: for 2 to 3 years class (Roly Polies), 3 to 4 years class (Grasshoppers), and 4 to 5 years class (Dragonflies).

Currently we do not prepare food on site. Your child will bring from home, healthy morning and afternoon snacks, along with lunch.

7) Is it possible to enroll on a school-year schedule?
Because our program runs year-round, and our staff are paid accordingly, tuition must be paid for each space all year so we can meet our obligations to our staff.

Yes. At Via Nova we avoid using any pesticides such as insecticides and herbicides. We have established an Integrated Pest Management that focuses on long-term prevention using non-chemical practices to make the habitat less conductive to pest development.
